I purchased the latest release of StellarMate OS, as I do more or less every year, to support its continued development.

However, I would prefer not to reinstall the SSD in my Raspberry Pi 5 and would like to upgrade my existing installation instead.

My StellarMate OS currently reports version 1.9.3, even though I have installed updates regularly.

Is there a way to upgrade my current installation so that it is fully consistent with the latest release?

Is my system already up to date, with 1.9.3 simply being displayed incorrectly, or do I still need to reinstall the system? Is there another way to obtain all the changes included in the latest release?

Kind regards,

Unfortunately, this not possible because the SM OS 2.0 is a completely different base OS (Arch) and not Debian like before. We had to make this decision and standardize on Arch using our own delta update mechanism so that you wouldn't need to reinstall the OS again in the future.
