The iOptron SkyTracker Pro CW Package is an indispensable accessory engineered to balance heavier camera equipment and long telephoto lenses on your tracking mount. By offsetting the weight of heavy camera gear, it ensures smoother tracking performance, reduces strain on the mount's internal gears, and improves overall image sharp accuracy during long-exposure astrophotography.
While primary designed for the SkyTracker Pro, this versatile counterweight kit is also fully backward compatible with the original SkyTracker camera mount.
Package Included Components
- Dovetail Mounting Plate: Secures equipment onto the mount head smoothly.
- Counterweight Bar with Safety Cap: Sturdy shaft equipped with an end-cap to prevent weights from accidentally slipping off.
- 1.35 kg (approx. 3 lbs) Counterweight: Precision counterweight for smooth payload adjustment.
- Locking Handle: Heavy-duty knob to tighten and clamp position securely.
