Innovative ideas applied to a time-tested design: the iOptron® GEM45 next-generation German equatorial mount. Featuring a sharp-looking CNC-machined body anodized in red and black, the GEM45 is a top-quality mount in both form and function.
Utilizing experience gained during the development of the CEM series, iOptron removed unnecessary bulk, giving the GEM45 an incredible 2.58 payload-to-mount weight ratio. This compact 7.9 kg (17.5 lbs) mount head can precisely GOTO objects and track with up to 20.4 kg (45 lbs) of onboard gear. With its integrated electronic polar scope (iPolar™), polar alignment is effortless even when the Pole Star is partially obscured.
This complete bundle includes the upgraded LiteRoc™ 44.5 mm (1.75 in) stainless steel tripod delivering rock-solid stability in a lighter package, alongside a custom die-cut aluminum hard case for the mount head.
